Privacy Policy

Through the contact form: your name, email address, company name, the service you selected, and the message you write. You choose what to put in the message field.

Through the newsletter form: your email address, and nothing else.

Through analytics: we run Google Analytics 4, which collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and referring source. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this.

We do not collect payment details through this website, and we do not ask for or store sensitive personal data.

Contact form submissions are used to respond to your enquiry and to scope potential work. That is the only purpose.

Newsletter addresses are used to send occasional notes about what we are building. Every email includes an unsubscribe option.

Analytics data is used to understand which pages are useful and where the site is failing people. It is aggregate and we do not use it to identify individuals.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

We use a small number of processors to run the site and communicate with you: Vercel (hosting), Google Analytics (usage analytics), and an email delivery provider for form submissions and newsletter mail. Each receives only what it needs to perform that function.

We will disclose data if legally required to do so, and we will tell you unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.

Enquiries are kept for as long as there is an active conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. If you ask us to delete an enquiry, we will.

Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in that product.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can object to processing or ask us to restrict it.

To exercise any of these, email founders@mergemain.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

This site sets cookies through Google Analytics for the purposes described above. It does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works normally without them.

This policy covers mergemain.com only. Products we have built that live on their own domains have their own privacy policies, which apply to those products.

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page.
